Paintwork damages easily to repair
Bigger scratches lower the value of your car and accelerate rusting of the car body. With a little knack and the MOTIP DUPLI products Rust Converter, Putties and Autospray your car will get new brilliance. Your car will gain in value and you save a lot of money for car body parts. Follow the using instructions of the different products and your repair and embellishment works will end successful. DUPLI-COLOR/MoTip Autospray is available in nearly all colors for the particular car types.
Derust damaged area up to blank bodywork.
In case rust won't come off easily, use Rust Converter.
If necessary, fill the damaged area with Putty or Acrylic Spray Putty.
Rub down wet after drying.
Mask off surrounding area with paper and spray on Filler.
Rub down wet with fine sanding paper (800 - 1000 gauge).
Shake the DUPLI-COLOR/MoTip Autospray can vigorously for 2 - 3 minutes. The mixing balls in the can must click audibly.
Test DUPLI-COLOR/MoTip Autospray, e.g. on a carton.
Spraying distance approx. 30 cm. Temperature approx. 20°C, wind-protected.
To avoid spray-dust, cut a hole in a carton and hold it approx.5 cm over the area to be lacquered.
Spray several thins coats until you achieve a glossy, covering surface.
Larger surfaces: spray to-and-fro horizontally, then up and down.

2-Coat-Metallic Lacquers have to be re-coated with 2-Coat Clear Lacquer after approx. 30 minutes drying time.
