Aerosol cans may be recycled and should be supplied to the re-use cycle.

Spray can recycling - simple and unproblematic for the consumer.

• Spray cans with the "Grüner Punkt" are for the recycling collection
  Condition: The can has to be empty from residues.
• Full or half-full aerosol cans have to be disposed as special refuse.
• Note: never try to open by aerosol cans, neither full nor empty ones.
• Always consider the operating instructions printed on the cans' labels

The portion of tinplate and aluminium garbage of the entire domestic refuse amounts to approx. 4 %. Aerosol cans have only a percentage of approx. 0,3 % of the total domestic refuse. Development of recycling of tinplate packing in the Federal Republic of Germany (in thousand tons).
